Saint Carrion stands in full ceremonial form, surrounded by curling incense and draped in the remnants of a religion that has long since forgotten what it was supposed to worship. Every layer, relic, and scar turns the figure into something between a funeral monument, wandering prophet, and the patron saint of everything, and everyone - left behind.
Created as an artificial artifact of the Aetherium, this piece presents Saint Carrion not as performer, but as icon - the figure you might find painted across the wall of a ruined cathedral centuries after everyone has forgotten their name.
The scripture is gone.
The congregation is dead.
